Greek Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 ⁄2 lb Ground lamb Can be substituted with ground beef, turkey or pork
  • 1 ⁄2 tsp Fresh parsley
  • 1 ⁄2 tsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp of Minced onion
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 oz Feta cheese
  • 2 slices Red onion
  • 2 oz of Tzatziki
  • 1 Bun pita or naan bread

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup Plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 a Cucumber finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Chopped parsley
  • 1/4 of a Lemon
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • Minced red pepper

Instructions

  • Mix ground lamb with parsley, garlic and minced onion. Season with salt, black pepper and garlic powder.
  • Grill the burger.
  • Grill the thinly sliced red onions.
  • Toast the bread/buns.
  • Top with crumbled Feta cheese while still on the grill.
  • Add thinly sliced red onion and Tzatziki sauce on top of burger.
  • Serve on a bun, pita, or naan bread.
